·Selected by the magazine Swimming World as the National Champions out of all the high schools in the country.  The National Champions are based on the dual meet season and is computer calculated.

·The 1986 Women’s team was undefeated in the dual meet season.

·The 1986 Women’s team won the Inter-Ac Championships and Easterns.

·Suzy Bukovich was a medalist at the Pan American Games in individual and relay events.

·Erika Hansen was a Gold Medalist at the Pan Pacific Games, a member of the 1988 Olympic team in Korea and a member of the 1992 Olympic team in Barcelona, Spain.

·Kathy Hettche won Gold and Silver medals at the first Goodwill Games in the Soviet Union.

·Trina Radke was a medalist at the Pan Pacific games, a member of two World Championship teams and a finalist at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, Korea.
